Paul Ressencourt and Simon Roché, drawing enthusiasts, have been present in public spaces since 2010. They cover the walls of our cities with characters drawn and ephemeral exhibitions under the name of Murmure street.
Artistic Director and Technical Director, Paul Ressencourt and Simon Roché interact with the urban environment and create singular and poetic scenes. Working in both disciplines with passion, artists break down the boundaries between art and communication. Both disciplines interact and feed continuously. The installations interact with the environment thanks to the realism obtained by the technique of the black stone. The work of a drop shadow unhooks the characters from the wall and gives depth to the installation. Thus, the drawings are not conceived according to a specific place of intervention, but they are realized to be able to live in different places and urban spaces. The choice of space and support, both in terms of materials and colors, is the narrative complement to the drawing.
“Garb (age)” is a series that is based on oneiric and poetic hijack of the garbage bag. This object, symbol of our era and our consumerist civilization, invades our daily life and our environment.
