A creative group of young people who call themselves Project “72 hrs” likes to introduce themselves: “A community based organization which encourages citizens to voluntarily partake in any activity that can uplift the society through positive outlook towards life and goals.”They have set this 72 hours target. They seek to contribute 72 hours of their time, every year for any community service. It can be visiting an old age home, orphanage, prison, town cleaning, street art, or just about anything that one would like to do which can benefit the community. They are making an effort to preserve the Naga culture through such projects. By whatever name people have called this realm, hidden among the mountains of Northeast India, Nagaland has always evoked as a sense of mysticism and awe. Intensified by the remoteness of its geographical location. Though the people are modernized and sophisticated in many ways the tribal of the nagas are deeply rooted in their respected beliefs and practices, maintaining a high degree of affinity to their cultural heritage.
